The Power Of The Debt Snowball
As I mentioned, I felt like I wasn’t making any progress towards paying off my debt. But the debt snowball plan changed all of that. By paying off the smallest balance debt first, I was motivated.
Instead of having 4 debt payments to make each month, now I only had 3. And by putting the money that was going to that now paid off debt towards my remaining debt, I was paying off my next debt even faster.
The result was a snowball going downhill. My payments were larger each month because I had fewer debts and I was excited to get out of debt.
The debt snowball spreadsheet helped me to pay off my $10,000 of credit card debt in a little over 1 year!
